Coat type: Rich velvety dark brown short coat.

Coat colours and body type: This breed is a medium firm muscular cat with powerful yet elegant demeanour. They come only in a deep brown with vivid green eyes.  

Grooming required: Low - weekly brush.

Similar Breeds: Siamese, Russian blue.

Health Profile: Small gene pool. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, calcium oxylate urinary stones.

 

Havana temperament

The Havana notably craves interaction and companionship. They are highly expressive with their paws. They do not do well when left on their own.
