Grooming required: High - daily brush, and wipe face of tears to avoid skin irritation.
Similar Breeds: Persian.
Health Profile: Brachycephalic, polycystic kidney disease (PKD), respiratory difficulty, excessive tear production, facial skin irritation, heat sensitive.
Himalayan temperament
The Himalayan breed is particularly placid and quite malleable in demeanour. They will adjust to a new routine very easily and get along with other pets and children.
