A little about the Belgian Shepherd - Tervuren
The Belgian Shepherd Dog is rare because it comes in four varieties: the Laekenois, the Groenendael, the Malinois, and the Tervuren. They all have different coats and originated in slightly different areas of Belgium. Bred to herd sheep, they have strong protective instincts and need large amounts of exercise and training. However, they love being part of family activities and can be a loyal companion.
