A little about the Black Russian Terrier

The Black Russian Terrier was originally used as a military working dog. As such, they are a breed that needs constant mental and physical stimulation to remain content, with many excelling at agility training. If this is met, they are calm and gentle dogs that can make great companions.

The Black Russian Terrier may be predisposed to the following conditions: Canine Hip and Elbow Dysplasia, Hyperuricosuria, Progressive Retinal Atrophy and Juvenile Laryngeal Paralysis and Polyneuropathy.
