A little about the Griffon Bruxellois

The Griffon Bruxellois originated in Belgium and is a bold, affectionate, companion. They are a big confident personality in a small package but can be wary of strangers.

The Griffon Bruxellosis health concerns include Patella Luxation, Cleft Palate, Distichiasis, Cataracts, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Canine Hip Dysplasia, Syringomyelia, Legg- Perthes and occasional urinary incontinence. It is also worth noting that this breed often needs a caesarean section to deliver pups. Their facial conformation also means they may suffer from respiratory issues, namely Brachycephalic Airway Syndrome.
