The Griffon Bruxellois originated in Belgium and is a bold, affectionate, companion. They are a big confident personality in a small package but can be wary of strangers.  

 

GRIFFON BRUXELLOIS HEALTH INFORMATION

The Griffon Bruxellosis health concerns include Patella Luxation, Cleft Palate, Distichiasis, Cataracts, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Canine Hip Dysplasia, Syringomyelia, Legg- Perthes and occasional urinary incontinence. It is also worth noting that this breed often needs a caesarean section to deliver pups. Their facial conformation also means they may suffer from respiratory issues, namely Brachycephalic Airway Syndrome.
