A little about the Lagotto Romagnolo

 

Originally bred in Italy to hunt and retrieve waterfowl, the Lagotto Romagnolo's acute sense of smell means they have also been trained to hunt for truffle. These days they are often a companionable, loving family dog, however, they also need exercise to stay occupied. 

 

LAGOTTO ROMAGNOLO HEALTH INFORMATION

The Lagotto Romagnolo may be predisposed to the following health conditions: Canine Hip and Elbow Dysplasia, Juvenile Epilepsy, Cataracts, and Cerebellar abiotrophy. They can also be prone to excessive barking if not given enough physical and mental stimulation.
