A little about the Maremma Sheepdog


With a powerful stance and presence, the Maremma was initially bred as a livestock guardian. They are suited to outdoor living and, although they can be affectionate, require experienced handling. 



The Maremma Sheepdog is predisposed to the following health conditions: Canine Hip and Elbow Dysplasia, Entropian, Ectropian, Distichiasis, Gastric Torsion (bloat) and Patellar Luxation.
