A little about the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen

Not to be mistaken for couch potatoes, PBGV's are very intent on following a trail and hunting. Interesting walks or hikes are necessary for this breed to satisfy this aspect. Small animals, such as cats and rabbits, are likely to fall prey to a PBGV should they cross paths. Small pets in the home are not suitable for the PBGV breed, unless they are raised exceptionally well together.
