Guild Insurance via Vets Choice Survey Prize Draw "Prize Draw" - Terms and Conditions
- By entering into the Prize Draw, entrants are deemed to have read and agreed to abide by these conditions.
- Instructions on how to enter the Prize Draw and other details contained within the advertising material for the Prize Draw form part of these terms and conditions.
- Entry is limited to Australian residents interacting with the Vets Choice website (vetschoice.guildinsurance.com.au and subdomains), and who are not employed by Guild Insurance, or any partner / business that is in business with Guild Insurance.
- Entrants must be aged 18 years and over and each person may only enter the Prize Draw once.
- To enter the Prize Draw entrants must complete the survey questions that have been presented to them through an email link that is provided following interactions on the Vets Choice quote and application process found through vetschoice.guildinsurance.com.au.
- The first Prize Draw commences at 5:00pm AEST on October 16 2019 and closes at 2.00pm AEST on January 16 2020. Each subsequent prize draw will commence within 72 hours of the previous prize draw and run for 3 months following the commencement. Estimated dates for second Prize Draw commences at 5:00pm AEST on January 16 2019 and closes at 2.00pm AEST on April 16 2020. Estimated dates for third Prize Draw commences at 5:00pm AEST on April 16 2019 and closes at 2.00pm AEST on July 16 2020. Estimated dates for fourth Prize Draw commences at 5:00pm AEST on July 16 2019 and closes at 2.00pm AEST on October 16 2020.
- The winner(s) will be randomly drawn (Barrel style) between 2.00pm to 5.00pm AEST on January 16 2020, between 2.00pm to 5.00pm AEST on April 16 2020, between 2.00pm to 5.00pm AEST on July 16 2020, between 2.00pm to 5.00pm AEST on October 16 2020. The draw will take place at Guild Group Holdings Limited at L13 171 Collins St, Victoria 3000. The winner will be contacted by the email provided by the entrant as part of the survey. The prize will only be delivered in Australia and the winner should allow 28 days from the date the winner claims the prize for delivery of their prize.
- All correct and valid entries submitted during the Prize Draw will be entered into the draw to win the nominated prize. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Vets Choice Survey database, and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, Guild Insurance as the promoter of the Prize Draw reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
- If the prize is not claimed within 1 month of the draw date, a redraw will take place at Guild Group Holdings Limited at L13 171 Collins St, Victoria 3000 within 7 days following 1 month of the notification to the winner.
- The prize for each Prize Draw is an estimated ‘years supply’ of pet food products based on the estimate of $1000 retail value of an average sized pet. One entrant can win a maximum of one prize.
- The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied unless authorised by Guild Insurance. The prize value includes GST and is in Australian dollars and is correct at time of publication. Guild accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. If a prize or part of is unavailable, for whatever reason, Guild reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value subject to any written directions from the relevant regulator.
- The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Any additional costs or requirements associated with the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
- The prize is provided by the Promoter, Guild Group Holdings Limited (ABN 72 060 237 774) at L13 171 Collins St, Victoria 3000 by way of Hills Pet Food supplier. If Hills Pet Food cannot provide the prize within 48 hours of each prize draw, Guild Group Holdings will purchase the equivalent pet food amount on Hills Pet Food behalf.
- Details of the winner and Prize Draw will be published on the Guild Group Holdings Limited website vetschoice.guildinsurance.com.au/competitions-and-prizes from 5:00pm starting January 16 2020.
- The information supplied by the entrant will be received, retained, used and disclosed by the Promoter, its related companies and business partners for the primary purpose of providing you with further information on evaluating, effecting, managing and administering products and services offered by the Promoter, its related companies and business partners. You may at any time request that no further marketing material be sent to you and you may access the personal information the Promoter holds about you by emailing marketing@guildinsurance.com.au.
- Prize Draw entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, state of residence and photo in the event that they are a winner in any media, including advertising, and agrees to participate in any promotional activities without payment, for the purposes of promoting the Prize Draw and promoting the Promoter’s business.
- The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
- The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Prize Draw. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Prize Draw, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not this occurs under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
